Dear all, since I got this question a few times already:
The material you saw before the midterm is relevant also for the final exam. Conceptually, there is just so much connection between the first and second half of the course that you definitely do not want to forget everything you saw already. That said, the final exam will mostly lean on topics from after the midterm.
