As announced, Bank of Portugal’ Governor Mário Centeno is joining us today in person [5.00 - 5.45 PM].
Governor Centeno, a former president of the Eurogroup and the former Minister of Finance for Portugal, offers a great opportunity for us to learn from and engage with him. I encourage you not to miss this class!
He will talk with us about monetary policy, supervision, and regulation.
From 6:00 to 7:00 PM (approximately), we will have our regular class. Following that, from 7:15 to 8:00 PM (approximately), we will have the opportunity to hear from Hugo Coelho of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at the University of Cambridge. He will share his insights on stablecoins, tokenized deposits, and CBDCs.
