Hi, and welcome!
In this Design Thinking crash course, to be held in Classroom B 005 from 9h30 to 18h next June 4th and 5th, you'll learn the importance of building things with real value for people - by finding real unmet needs first and coming up with solutions and ideas later.
When we dedicate time to understanding and redefining what's at stake, the responses to solve it tend to emerge naturally. Only then can we bring our creativity and ideas about how to translate the needed solution into a more effective and compelling outcome.
Design Thinking is nothing more and nothing less than combining critical thinking and the design discipline's trademark "form & function" drive with an entrepreneurial vision about how such a solution can be implemented to positively impact users - and business developers.
Before
the activities, please read this document,
which provides a brief overview of the topic
to be explored over the module, including the triggering starting
question for our two-day activities. You will enter the classroom with
the right mindset by going through it. Theory, practices, and "final
results" will be built over the two days.
