General
This module aims to be an opportunity for students from the areas of management and economics to think through and discuss these and other related questions. Through debate, students will confront their answers to these problems with arguments from philosophers and other relevant personalities. We will debate these questions as well as others, related to the origins or moral concepts, to the possibility of rational agreements in matters of ethics, and to what gives our actions their moral value - intention, outcome, character? We will use stories, films and case studies as prompts for our discussions. They aim to help develop conceptual and argumentative tools that allow students to address these questions correctly, understand the different alternative answers, and master criteria that help them compare and assess those possible answers.
