Please note that an UPDATED version of the Excel file has just been uploaded on Moodle. Please refer to this new version for your analysis.
Additionally, to clarify some common questions:
1) The assignment involves three companies:
- Main company: The company you chose last week in the Moodle activity (one of Ford, McDonald's, Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, or Duke).
- Peer company: Select from the Excel file (one of Pfizer, Medtronic, Chipotle, General Motors, or Southern).
- Company from another section: Choose from Ford, McDonald's, Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, Duke (excluding your main company).
Data regarding prices and dividends for all three companies should be sourced from the Excel file.
2) It is possible that a company has two dividends for the same period. In such cases, if you encounter repeated dates, you will need to sum the dividends.
