The final grade is based on:

A Final Exam > Jun 4th, 2.30pm

B Midterm (compulsory) > Apr 4th, 2pm

C Assignments

• Group Assignment#1 (25%): available on Feb 18th, due on Feb 25th
  
• Group Assignment #2 (25%): available on Mar 11th, due on Mar 18th
  
• Individual Assignment #3 (50%): available on May 6th, due on May 20th
• The final grade will be 0.5A + 0.25B + 0.25C if A ≥ 8.0; A if A < 8.0
• For students who take the Resit Exam (Jun 27th, 8.30am), the final grade will coincide with the grade of that exam (and the midterm and the assignments will not be considered). The Resit Exam will therefore cover the whole course with equal weight to the parts before and after the Midterm, and it will be slightly more difficult that the Final Exam.
• The Final Exam will also cover the whole course, but will be shorter and will focus more on the second half of the course (after the Midterm Exam).
