Every meaningful decision of a firm has financial implications. In this course you will learn to understand the key financing decisions of a firm, in particular, the investment, financing and payout decisions. And assess the impact of each decision on the value for all investors and other stakeholders.
General Skills:

- Relate the financing decision with the value of a project/company
- Relate payout decision with value of the company
Assessment
- Summative quizzes - 10%
- Participation in Forum - [0%, 5%]
- Short case studies - [25%, 30%]
- Midterm exam - [10%, 20%]
- Final exam - [40%, 50%]
10% Quiz + 10% Midterm + 10% max{Midterm, Exam} + 40% Exam + 25% Case studies + 5% max{Participation, Case studies}
NOTE: You are required to do the final exam. But there is no minimum grade required in the Final Exam to pass the course.
