In this course students are expected to learn to define and explain the behaviour of the main macroeconomic variables and understand the central effects of macroeconomic policy, both in the short and in the long run. Students are also expected to become familiar with fundamental data on the portuguese and euro area economies.
Nesta cadeira espera-se que os alunos aprendam a definir e explicar o comportamento das principais variáveis macroeconómicas e compreendam os principais efeitos da política macroeconómica, no curto e no longo prazo. Devem também ficar a conhecer os dados fundamentais da economia portuguesa e da área do euro.
